You’re on a ledge back in the room with the spinning flames. Walk along the ledge to hit an invisible switch that turns the ledge into stairs.

If you explore the room again you’ll notice a switch high up on the wall opposite the door you just came through.  If you go back up onto the ledge (as shown in the picture) you’ll be able to shoot that switch.  More stairs drop down letting you reach a new exit.
