There are three lifts in this room – one green, one yellow, and one blue.  They are operated in an unusual manner that the blue monster likes to demonstrate.

To raise the blue lift, copy the monster by walking anti-clockwise around and around the blue path.

When the lift reaches its maximum height, shoot the monster, then wait for both lifts to descend.

Repeat the trick on the green lift to get up to the exit.
